17:37hrs, The OFC was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Crash with injuries on DuPont Parkway at Harris Road. Rescue 24 with a crew in quarters responded 2 minutes after the dispatch and arrived to find a 2 vehicle crash. 24-8-C(Hensley) requested 2 BLS units which responded from Townsend Fire Company and Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown. OFC firefighters cleaned debris from the roadway and gave aid to the injured until BLS units from the neighboring companies arrived. Assistant Chief Hensley placed the scene under control at 17:50hrs with the injured be transported to Kent General Hospital in Dover and Christiana Hospital in Newark. Odessa firefighters were in service for over 1 hour. Units on scene: Rescue 24, Rescue/Engine 4-6, BLS C-26, BLS B-27, Deputy 24 and Station Fire Police.
