Friday, December 30^th, @ 06:37hrs: Station 26, Engine 24 and Tower / Engine 27, was dispatched to a L3*Commercial Structure Fire at the DSWA on Pine Tree road in Townsend. Chief 26-8-B and Rescue 26 arrived on scene with smoke showing adding the RIT Company from Station 45/ BLS and ALS. Crews from Rescue 26 quickly placed a line in service and knocked a large pile of trash down. Sprinklers had also activated inside the building. Chief 24 and Tanker 24 with a crew of 6 arrived and was used for water supply. The crew from Tanker 24 stood bye.

OFC Firefighters were in service for over 1.5hrs. This was the second time in 2 weeks fire companies from the MOT was sent to this location. This building was the residential drop off facility
