Thursday May, 16 2013 @ 04:14hrs Station 15, Station 4/24, NCC Medic 6, DSP Trooper 4 and BLS A-29 was dispatched to Route 1 Northbound in the area of the Roth Bridge for a MVC with entrapment and involving a bus. BLS A-29 / D.C.R. Asst. Chief 34-8-B(Thompson)arrived to find the crash in the area of Pole Bridge Road and confirmed the entrapment. Rescue 24, A-24 and other units arrived to extricate 1 person fro ma 4 door sedan. The patient was transported to Christiana Trauma Center. Chief Brown had the Route 1 command. OFC Firefighters were in servi9ce for over 2 hours with Route 1 being closed for over 4 hours.
