Back to Back MVC - Pole Bridge Rd - RT 1

Saturday January, 21 2012 @ 11:25 the OFC was dispatched to a MVC on Pole Bridge Road in the area of Acorn Drive. BLS B-4 arrived on scene and requested an additional BLS from Station 29. Engine 4-5 with a crew of 5 firefighters under the Command of Chief Brown arrived on scene and assisted the injured. Pole Bridge Road was closed for over 1 hour due to the weather conditions.

Crews had just returned to quarters when the N.C.C. Fireboard alerted Station 4/24 and Station 15(Del.City) @ 12:58hrs for an MVC on Route 1 Northbound in the area of the Toll Plaza. Engine 4-5/ Chief 24-8 arrived on scene and reduced the incident to BLS B-4 and Engine 4-5.

OFC Units responding this day was: Engine 4-5, BLS B-4, BLS-24, Rescue 24, Command 24, Field Piece 24-0, Utilty-24 and Station Fire Police
