Engine & Tanker Assist Station 5

OFC was alerted at 0155 hours for an Engine to assist Station 5 Betterton Fire Company on a 3rd alarm L3 Multi-Residential Fire, Main Street Betterton, Maryland. Engine-24 responded at 0207 hours with a crew of 4 under Command of Asst. Chief Eckrich. At 0224 hours OFC was alerted again for a Tanker to assist Station 5. Tanker-24 responded at 0237 hours with a crew of 4 under Command of Captain Stephano. Command-24 (Deputy Trincia) made an off radio response and was advised to dump our water into the folding tank that was set up in front of Station 5. Engine-24 & Tanker-24 shuttled water from Kennedyville, Maryland while crews assisted with overhaul at the fire scene. Crews were in service for over 4.
