Odessa Fire Company

Station 4/24 was alerted at 0955 hours to an L1 Vehicle Fire on Lorewood Grove Road under the (Route 1) Roth Bridge. Engine 4-5 responded with a crew of 5 under Command of Fire Chief Brown. Once Engine 4-5 turned onto DuPont Parkway, the Engine crew could see the smoke from the vehicle and started to Donn their SCBA's for fire attack. Upon arrival the engine compartment was involved and crews had to force the hood open. Of the 1000 gallons of water on Engine 4-5, the crew only used a 1/4 tank of water to extinguish the fire. Fire Chief Brown placed the scene under control at 1018 hours.
