At 17:43 hours Fireboard alerted the Odessa Fire Company, New Castle County Medic 5, and RECOM of an MVC W/ Entrapment at Middletown Odessa Road and Route 1. Assistant Chief Vucci (24-8B) arrived on scene and found a two vehicle accident without entrapment, both vehicles in the lower embankment on the south side of the road. A light pole had been knocked down in the accident and there was 1 injury on scene which was transported to the local hospital. The scene was placed under control at 1757hrs and units returned.
Units Responding: NCC M5D, Middletown Police, DSP, B-4, R-24, 24-3, R-4 and OFC Fire Police.
